12/27/05 Basketball Preview: Nuggets-Sixers One Men Showdown
76ers @ Nuggets: Denver has to be productive against one-man
teams like Philadelphia to beat them. Against Houston, the Rockets had numerous
players injured, shot under 30%, and T-Mac only had 14 points. The Sixers won't
perform that way, especially with the torrent Allen Iverson is on. The most
injured team in this game is Denver, with Kenyon Martin once again facing knee
problems. Both Denver and Philadelphia are one-man teams at their core and
benefit from being in weak divisions.
Runner-up:
Bucks @ Heat: Milwaukee has done well at home, but winning
at least one of two in Orlando and Miami would be a steal. One player who needs
to step up for the Bucks is Bobby Simmons, who has struggled to get to
double-digits lately. Mo Williams is the 6th Man of the Year so far and has to
continue to play hard for a Bucks win.Visit https://basketpreviews.com/
Blowout:
Raptors @ Pistons: Detroit is on pace to win near 70 games.
While some losses will begin to come, we can be assured that one won't occur
against the Raptors. With just two road losses, they have been the most
impressive team so far this season. Toronto is battling with Atlanta for worst
record. It should be a no-brainer.
